EscapeHomes was founded in 1998 by Clark Thompson. A highly respected real estate industry veteran, Clark understood that the Internet could make the search for second homes easier by bringing vacation properties "closer to home". He saw that the Internet could streamline this time-consuming and costly process into an efficient, effective, and exciting search.
