The closest thing to actual snowboarding, this digital game plugs into your television and translates a rider`s weight shifts into movement on screen, allowing young snowboarders to challenge lifelike slopes at anytime without the need for a mountain or winter weather. The snowboard system includes four game modes (show-off, time challenge, pipedream, and Tokyo megaplex) in which boarders can race, carve turns, and execute jumps and other aerial maneuvers on the virtual mountain, simply by moving their body weight as they would on a real snowboard. The game graphics depict a wide variety of snowboarding terrain and objects, including slopes, moguls, jumps, half-pipes, alpine forests, mountain ranges, and other skiers and snowboarders. Authentic sounds like the swift susurrus of a board on snow and the voices of race announcers enhance game realism. Runs on four AA batteries. Ages 8 and up. 16" L x 6" W x 21/2" D. (61/2 lbs.)
