The DiMAGE Z10 is the digital camera to use when you want to take great pictures of a wide range of subjects, all day long. Its 32X total zoom power brings even distant subjects up close, and Rapid Autofocusing captures them in an instant. Plus, not only is the DiMAGE Z10 a sprinter with its fast startup time; it`s also a marathon champ with power efficiency that allows you to take up to approximately 500 frames with the four included AA alkaline batteries. High-Performance 32X (8X Optical, 4X Digital) Zoom Lens- The DiMAGE Z10 features a high-performance 8X optical zoom lens consisting of 11 elements in nine groups, including two aspheric lenses. With two aspheric lenses, the Z10 corrects various kinds of optical aberrations throughout the zoom range and renders beautiful, distortion-free images from edge to edge. The DiMAGE Z10 offers a wide shooting range. The 8X optical zoom gives focal lengths from 36-290mm (35mm equivalent), and boosts those focal lengths all the way up to 1160mm (35mm equivalent) when combined with the 4X seamless digital zoom. With 32X total zoom power, the Z10 is perfect for taking distance shots at sports events or when capturing far-away scenery. 3.2-Megapixel CCD for Beautiful Prints- The 3.2-megapixel, 1/2.5 inch CCD produces plenty of detail for creating high-quality enlargements - as large as 13-1/2 x 10-1/4 inches at 150 dpi. In addition, the CCD`s primary color filter offers high color fidelity for images that are true to life. Superbly Detailed Images with CxProcess II- Konica Minolta`s CxProcess II image processing technology is used to bring out the best in the 3.2 megapixel CCD. CxProcess II controls the essential image qualities of color, contrast, and sharpness while minimizing noise. Brilliant, saturated color remains vibrant without becoming unnatural.
