The PDC 52x Combo is a high-speed 52x24x52 internal IDE/ATAPI CD-RW drive coupled with a high performance 16x DVD-ROM . The kit includes CD recording software, DVD playback software, cables, mounting hardware, and documentation. The CDRW portion writes CD-R (recordable) at the fastest 52x speed, high-speed CD-RW (re-writable) media at the fastest 24x speeds and reads CD-ROMs at 52x speeds. Also included is intelligent buffer management technology, which automatically checks media quality to ensure successful writing session & data reliability, avoiding buffer underruns. The DVD-ROM portion reads all DVD formats at an extraordinary 16x!
