ZTERM is a terminal emulator designed for use with Windows CE Handheld PC Pro computers and Pocket PCs. It allows connectivity to text-based systems such as Unix and communications devices like routers and switches. ZTERM for Windows CE and ZTERM for Pocket PC are fully featured terminal emulators, compatble with Windows CE 2.11 or later Handheld PCs and the new Pocket PC platform. With over 20,000 copies installed on desktop Windows platforms, ZTERM for Windows CE and ZTERM for Pocket PC are a stable and well tested programs that are used every day to connect Windows machines to Unix and AMOS host computers and to communications gear like routers and switches. ZTERM emulates the following terminals: Alpha Micro AM62A monochrome field terminal. Alpha Micro AM75 color terminal in AM62C field terminal mode. ANSI color mode terminal. Contemporary Cybernetics CY-350 color field terminal. DEC VT-100 monochrome mode terminal. Wyse-350 color field terminal. Wyse-50 monochrome mode terminal. ZTERM can connect to the host via the following methods: Direct serial connection. Connection via modem with automatic dialing. Telnet connection via network interface. Telnet connection via Remote Networking. Encrypted telnet using SSL-sockets.
