The truck had its roots in Lower Manhattan serving the New York Fire Departments Ladder 15. Able to tower 75 feet in the air with exceptional maneuverability while pumping over 1500 gallons of water per minute, this rig has proved invaluable to Citizens Fire Company #2 and its previous companies. After the tragedy of September 11th, 2001, the members of Company #2 decided to honor their comrades from Ladder 15 who died at the World Trade Center. Ladder 15s patch and the names of the 13 fallen firemen are painted on the officers side of the boom.
